The APEX Pro Hardware integrates a 9 Axis IMU, a 10Hz GPS, and machine learning technology to create a model of both the track and your vehicle's performance. It offers real-time feedback through LEDs in the car and detailed information on the app after each driving session.
Targeting drivers looking to push their limits, APEX Pro aids in understanding and maximizing tire grip performance. Whether you're a racer, track day enthusiast, or autocross competitor, this tool proves invaluable in honing your skills. APEX Pro caters to participants in various four-wheeled motorsports disciplines including road racing, autocross, rally, track days/HPDE, and time attack events.
With the APEX Pro Hardware package, users benefit from 10 times the GPS accuracy and frequency of a smartphone's GPS, APEX's proprietary machine learning model (APEX Score) for instant in-car analysis, MPH/KPH selection, Crew View for live feed access of user records, post-session detailed analysis, and a multitude of overlay features.
For those using APEX Pro OBDII, the app acts as a gauge cluster for live engine data during everyday use and offers features such as check engine light diagnostic codes and zero-to-sixty MPH timing options. In racing scenarios, it provides high-quality GPS lap timing capabilities utilizing phone GPS technology, access to Crew View live feed, satellite image overlays with heat maps displaying speed and lateral G forces, OBDII data channel recordings, lap replay functionality with interactive speedometer, and more.
The 'Lap Timer Plus' subscription enhances the app by predicting lap times after the first lap on the track, calculating deltas between current and best laps to aid competitive drivers in optimizing performance. It allows for sector splitting of tracks to set improvement goals and offers video recording with data overlays after driving sessions.
